About the role
You will work within a growing multidisciplinary team that distinguishes themselves through their high quality, holistic healthcare services and genuinely caring approach by assessing, treating, and preventing disorders in human movement caused by injury or disease.
This is a clinic/community based role with a strong focus on enhancing the wellbeing and independence of our clients.
You will provide a variety of services such as:
- Support and empower individuals to build the capability for independence
- Assess, plan and implement OT services with consideration of program guidelines and client goals
- Working under funding schemes NDIS/HCP/DVA
- Prescribe a range of assistive technology and home modifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in equipment and home modifications
- Liaison with community stakeholders to optimise client management
- Work with families/care providers by providing ongoing support education and training
- Quality and timely completion of documentation and reports
- Create strong external linkages to community supports and services that will best meet the needs of the individual.

About you
- Previous 2+ years with working as an OT in a community setting
- Previous experience in HCP/DVA &/or NDIS
- Previous experience in home modifications and equipment prescription
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- High level computer skills and ability to use mobile technology in the workplace
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a high-growth business
Requirements of this role
- Qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Valid National Police Check
- The right to work in Australia
- Current drivers' licence and access to vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- Vaccination records for Flu Vaccine and COVID Vaccines (not required, but strongly recommended)
- WWC & NDIS checks (or willingness to obtain)
