Your gig

Lead and inspire the first International U Health café team at Bondi Junction's groundbreaking social wellness club. As U Store Manager, you'll lead the team and oversee operations, delivering world-class service and maintaining top standards.

Reporting to the Club General Manager, you'll play a key role in creating an outstanding experience for every member and guest.

In a nutshell –

  • You'll plan and prepare rosters and assign crew members to specific duties
  • You'll ensure our crew members are following service standards and procedures
  • You'll hire, train, assign, coach and motivate crew members to achieve agreed targets
  • You'll maintain appropriate stock levels through ordering, receiving and rotation processes
  • You'll effectively manage all operations of the store, including food cost variances, controllable costs against budget, stock take procedures, banking and daily management checks
  • You'll perform opening and closing procedures and first aid officer duties when required
  • You'll be a valuable member of the overall Virgin Active club leadership team

  • You have 1+ years of relevant café or restaurant leadership experience, and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule
  • You love to create refreshing experiences for people as much as you love to guarantee a super safe and presentable environment for all.
  • You are people focused. You're warm, honest and genuine. You get a kick delivering and teaching others operational excellence
  • You are self-assured. You listen intently. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone and you're comfortable communicating at all levels.
