Powering Skills Organisation is a Jobs and Skills Council for the Energy, Gas and Renewables sector funded by the Australian Government and managed by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

About the role
This is a leadership role where your ability to build strong industry relationships, foster collaboration, and convert technical insights into meaningful workforce outcomes will directly contribute to Australia's transition to net zero.
As Senior Manager, Industry Engagement, you will:
- Provide technical credibility and leadership, drawing on your expertise in the UEE (Electrotechnology), UEP (Electricity Generation), UET (Transmission, Distribution & Rail), or UEG (Gas Industry) training packages.
- Cultivate trusted and productive partnerships with stakeholders to align workforce and training solutions with industry needs.
- Guide multi-portfolio engagement to identify critical workforce gaps, support training product improvements, and inform national workforce strategies.
About You
- Demonstrated experience with UEE, UEP, UET and/or UEG training packages, such as training development, RTO implementation, validation/consultation, or industry/regulatory interface.
- Strong technical literacy across electrical and related energy skillsets, enabling you to credibly engage with practitioners and industry specialists.
- Proven experience leading industry and workforce stakeholder engagement to deliver actionable outcomes (e.g., cases for change, implementation strategies).
- Strong stakeholder leadership across complex portfolios and projects.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to draw out and convey insights to diverse stakeholder groups.
