We're currently recruiting 20 Retention Consultants to join our client's dynamic customer team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a large Health Insurance firm focused on delivering outstanding service and customer retention.

Retention Consultant - Temporary Opportunity (20+ Roles Available)

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)

Start Date: 18th November 2025

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: $44 + super p/h

Roster: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 8:00am - 8:15pm

Roster:* Late Shift Roles*: We are also seeking people who can commit to the late shift (11:45am - 8:15pm) five days a week. These roles will be fully remote.

Role Overview:

As a Retention Consultant, you'll engage directly with existing customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and retain their business by offering empathetic, solution-focused support. This is a phone-based role requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Engage with customers to understand concerns and offer tailored retention solutions
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with empathy and professionalism
  • Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Meet individual KPIs related to retention, quality, and service standards
  • Accurately update customer records and navigate internal systems
What You'll Need:
  • Previous experience in customer retention, call centre, or a customer service environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first attitude
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to commit to the full training period and assigned shift schedule
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
