Role overview

As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing residential construction and renovation projects from start to finish. This hands-on leadership role ensures projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Main responsibilities

  • Supervise daily on-site activities and ensure smooth project delivery
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
  • Monitor construction progress, timelines, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and updates
  • Resolve site issues and proactively identify solutions to keep projects on track

What you will bring

  • Previous experience as a Construction Supervisor or Site Manager in residential building
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety requirements
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities with a team-focused mindset
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering
  • White Card
  • Current driver's licence
  • Supervisor's License up to 2 storey (preferred but not essential)
