With a strong pipeline of projects across Cairns, Townsville, and Cloncurry (FIFO from Townsville), we're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our delivery team on a major infrastructure project based in Cloncurry.


The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure projects by providing efficient coordination and project administration across all stages — from procurement through to final accounts.

You'll work closely with both site and head office teams to ensure accurate project reporting, cost control, and compliance with GNM's safety and quality standards.

This is a FIFO role from Townsville, working on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster.

Flights, accommodation, and meals are provided.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager and site teams.
  • Assist with procurement processes including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
  • Support contract administration, including variations, claims, and reporting.
  • Maintain project records and documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Assist with monthly forecasting, budgeting, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and mobilisation for project personnel.
  • Prepare and submit client reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

About You
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role within civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven experience in contract administration, procurement, and project reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Construction White Card and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
