We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Waste Operators to support our Orchard Hills production site.

About the Role

As a Waste Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping our production facility clean, safe, and efficient by managing and transporting waste from production lines to the compactor area. You'll operate tugs, balers, and compactors while maintaining a tidy workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and transport waste bins from production areas
  • Operate tugs, compactors, and internal balers
  • Maintain cleanliness around compactor areas and tugs
  • Manage reception bins and ensure waste segregation (general, cardboard, product)
  • Perform basic equipment cleaning and housekeeping duties
What You'll Need
  • Mandatory: Valid forklift licence
  • Experience in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Commitment to safety and environmental standards
  • Ability to perform medium physical work (lifting, pushing/pulling up to 20kg)
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures
Work Environment
  • Mon to Fri, 10pm to 6am (Possible OT) $45.61
  • Warm, ventilated factory with moderate noise from machinery
  • PPE and full training provided
