The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Older Peoples Community Mental Health Service is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Consultant to step into a pivotal leadership role within our Older Person's Mental Health team. What You'll Be Doing
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will provide leadership, mentorship and supervision, to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team and carry a clinical caseload, appropriate to the needs of the service.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (APRHA) and a minimum of 5 years post registration experience in a mental health and/or aged care speciality. In addition, the applicant must have an approved post graduate tertiary qualification within the speciality of aged care and/or mental health drug and alcohol or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate. Hold a current NSW Driver's licence.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership in management of older people with complex mental health issues and psychiatric disorders and associated behaviours.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead evidence-based nursing clinical practice through the development and implementation of educational programs.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in the use of computerised information systems.
