The Role:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Forklift Driver/Storeman/ Factory hand to join our team initially on a casual basis with opportunities to become permanent. The successful candidate will possess good forklift experience along with the initiative to complete all tasks and duties within the yard and factory.

  • Casual Ongoing
  • 7.00 am -3.30 pm
  • Monday-Friday

Responsibilities will include:

  • Forklift Duties
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers
  • Co-ordinate with freight companies and couriers
  • Preparing goods for despatch to the site
  • Receiving and checking the condition, conformance, and quality of incoming goods.
  • Store incoming goods within the factory/yard, correctly labeled
  • Minor fabrication duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional reliability and work ethic
  • Physically fit
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Understanding of OHSW and a proactive approach to reducing hazards

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is required
  • LF (Forklift) Licence is preferred.
  • Fluent English
  • Well presented
  • Must be a team player and be able to work autonomously.
