About the role

As the Duty Manager at Sana Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of this dynamic hospitality establishment. Working in a full-time capacity, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, while fostering an exceptional guest experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the restaurant floor, staff and overall service delivery to customers

  • Oversee and coordinate the work of Front of House and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless service

  • Handle customer inquiries, reservations, and complaints with professionalism and diplomacy

  • Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance management

  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure adequate stock

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

  • Contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives to drive business growth

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience (2+ years) as a Duty Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership role

  • Strong operational and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of hospitality industry best practices and regulations

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in using relevant hospitality management software and technology

  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience
