About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled
SAP Basis Incident & Outage Expert
to join our clients dynamic team. This senior-level role focuses on
ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our clients' SAP systems
across complex environments. You will act as a key escalation point, driving
incident resolution, outage management, process improvements, and automation initiatives
while collaborating closely with product development and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead incident and outage management, troubleshooting complex SAP Basis and database issues.
  • Manage SAP environments including
    SAP NetWeaver, Web Dispatcher, Business Objects, Convergent Charging, Convergent Mediation, OpenText
    , and related technologies.
  • Implement and optimize SAP systems in
    cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    and automate monitoring/workflows.
  • Develop technical documentation: Knowledge Base Articles, Wiki pages, Root Cause Analyses, and blogs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process mining exercises, and scalable operational processes.
  • Collaborate with domain leads, service engineering, and product teams to enhance system
    supportability and operability
    .
  • Participate in architecture decisions and ITIL-based service management processes (Incident, Event, and Change Management).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience with DB-level expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Basis technologies, NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Business Objects, OpenText, and Convergent solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud operations and hyperscale environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficient in automation of monitoring and operational workflows.
  • ITIL knowledge and experience in incident/event/change management.
  • SAP certification in NW administration or S/4HANA System administration is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; proactive and customer-focused.
