At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate FlexEd Classroom Teacher to join our dedicated David Scott School team, teaching online, onsite and through outreach.

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time working 38 hours per week
Salary: In alignment with VGSA, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation.

The David Scott School is seeking a full-time FlexEd Teacher to deliver innovative learning across onsite, online, and outreach settings. This role supports young people to re-engage in education through highly individualised, trauma-informed programs aligned with the VPC and VCE VM. We are looking for an adaptable, collaborative educator who values flexible learning and is committed to helping students build confidence, connect to learning that has relevance for them, and build meaningful future pathways.
- Full-time teaching role dedicated to the FlexEd program at the David Scott School.
- Deliver learning across onsite, online, and outreach settings to support student engagement.
- Design and implement individualised, trauma-informed programs aligned with the VPC and VCE VM.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and schoolwide initiatives.
- Support young people to reconnect with education, build confidence, and create future pathways.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in teaching
- Current full VIT registration
- Demonstrated experience in a secondary school education environment, including a sound background in teaching, applied learning, and administration
- Demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to whole school improvement initiatives, major curriculum, or student activities
- A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning for self and others to enable further development of skills, expertise and teaching capacity
