About Our School:

Prime Education Australia, a co-educational tutoring school, has been fostering the academic growth of students from Prep to Year 12 for more than three decades. We are dedicated to delivering excellence in education within a nurturing and cooperative environment.

Operating across various locations in Victoria, including Camberwell, South Yarra, Glen Waverley, Preston, Keysborough, Box Hill, and Werribee, we are seeking to appoint English, Writing and Math teachers for our Camberwell and Glen Waverley Campuses. Classes are held every Saturday and/or Sunday during normal Victorian school terms.

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate classroom teacher that demonstrates:

  • a thorough knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including experience in responding to different student learning needs
  • the ability to create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment for students
  • experience in delivering positive classroom management strategies to sustain appropriate work habits
  • the ability to assess student learning and documenting and reporting on student marks and progress
  • the ability to give constructive feedback to students, encourage and involve students in class to enable them to fulfil their potential
  • the ability to engage professionally with colleagues and parents.

The successful applicant should:

  • Have a current Working with Children Check.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Have sound skills in classroom teaching.
  • Possess a love of learning and have the ability to inspire this in children.
