The Role

We're looking for a long term Junior Medical Receptionist to join our team.

You'll be the smiling face patients see when they arrive and the friendly voice they hear when they call.

Your rostered shifts will be between 7:40AM – 5:20PM.

9 hour shifts- which includes a 30min unpaid lunch break.

You will work 2 days a week - Mondays and Wednesdays. With an extra day a month (Thursday)

Ideally you would also cover sick leave and holidays of other staff if required

Must haves:

  • A strong background in customer service- any industry
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Strong time management + multitasking abilities
  • Must be interested in a long-term role, not a temporary opportunity
  • Excellent recent professional references - ready and lined up
  • Own reliable transport
  • Australian permanent residency status is required for this position

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • The ability to work in our satellite clinic located in Cleveland occasionally
  • Flexibility to accomodate early morning starts 7:40am
  • Flexibility to take on more shifts occasionally to cover for sick or holiday leave of other staff

Day-to-Day You'll Be…

  • Greeting patients & answering a high volume of calls and emails
  • Managing busy clinician diaries & preparing clinic
  • Coordinating surgeries & sending patient info packs, including quotations
  • Handling payments & correspondence
  • Liaising with Doctors, hospitals, insurers, and rehab providers
  • Supporting satellite clinics (Cleveland) when needed
  • Maintaining patient-confidentiality & professionalism
