We're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance function and support executive-level decision-making. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional who thrives on improving systems, streamlining operations, and driving financial performance. You will represent Weleda Australia and be part of our global finance team based in Basel, Switzerland.

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage all aspects of finance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations, reporting, and compliance.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, management reports, and financial statements.
• Oversee payroll, superannuation, tax obligations, and financial audits.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors, advisors, and financial institutions.
• Identify and implement efficiencies across financial processes and systems.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in accounting reporting role, ideally with leadership reponsibilities.

• CPA/CA qualified

• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• ERP experience with Microsoft Business Central highly regarded.
• Solid knowledge of payroll, HR legislation, and accounting standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Effectiveness in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Part-time position

• Monday to Thursday 9-5: hours per day) in office in Warriewood on the Northern Beaches. There may be some flexibility with WFH. Note: depending on your renummeration expectation this position can be a full time position (37.5 hours per week).
