About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our High Dependency Unit / Medical Emergency Response teams.
In this role, you will provide specialised nursing care to patients requiring high-level monitoring and intervention. Working in both HDU and MER settings, you will respond to medical emergencies throughout the hospital while delivering comprehensive care to critically unwell patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for high dependency patients
- respond to medical emergency calls across the hospital
- monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical observations
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- mentor and support less experienced nursing staff
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. A post graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing (Intensive Care Nursing or High Dependency Nursing) is highly desirable.
