With over 250 stores and 1,687 Robo Shops across 23 countries, POP MART is taking the next step in Australia with the opening of our Westfield Sydney Flagship Store — our biggest and most exciting retail location yet.

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager with a strong track record in leading large teams in high-volume, fast-paced retail environments. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a global phenomenon and shape the customer experience at one of the most anticipated store openings in Sydney.

Your Role

  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high-level customer service and sales performance.
  • Support the management team (i.e. Store Manager, Area Manager & HR team) in hiring, onboarding and scheduling.
  • Monitor and analyse sales data, helping to break down weekly/monthly KPIs into daily goals.
  • Manage stock levels, ensure timely replenishment and oversee inventory control.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and problem resolution.
  • Assist with marketing promotions and store merchandising strategies.
  • Conduct coaching and performance reviews to develop team members.
  • Assess team skills and identify gaps in product knowledge, sales techniques, or operational skills.
  • Motivate and develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and structured training plan or performance plan.
  • Report any store defects, maintenance issues or repair requirements to the company in a timely manner to ensure a safe and well-maintained store environment.
  • Maintain a strong health and safety mindset by ensuring all team members follow WHS guidelines.
  • Report any WHS hazards or incidents to HR and work with the company to address safety concerns proactively.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams (40+ staff) in high-traffic, high-volume retail settings.
  • Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills — able to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Commercially savvy and confident in analysing performance data and implementing improvement plans.
  • Experience managing complex store operations, including rosters, performance, and customer flow.
  • Adaptable, proactive and resilient — thrives under pressure and leads by example.
  • A genuine passion for pop culture, collectibles and creating unforgettable customer experiences.
