Location: Dandenong South

Shift: 7am - 3pm (Monday to Friday)

Primary Objective

  • Carry out all tasks associated with the receipt of Inwards Goods
  • Dispatch of products from the warehouse to intercompany warehouses and customers according to established procedures.
  • Correctly store manufactured goods and finished goods from manufacturing are efficient and correct 100% of picks.
  • Work in and positively contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Store materials and product safely and in assigned areas to be picked safely, correctly and efficiently.
  • Receive and check all Inwards Goods for correct quantity, type and condition against the Company purchase Order.  Factory Coordinator to be notified in the case of non-conformance.
  • To pre-stage raw material as per the batch sheet to the Production processes as and when required by the Plant Supervisor.
  • To maintain the pick-face in the warehouse at the lowest possible racks within the FIFO system.
  • To ensure batch continuity is maintained and that the FIFO system is rigorously maintained.
  • Ensure that transfer dockets for consignment stock to company warehouse is correct and compiled to be sent to the Logistics Co-ordinator daily.

  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean and tidy condition with particular emphasis on:

  • Recycle cardboard collected as required to have a minimum on site.

  • Pallets to be disposed of and recycled on a regular basis.
  • Isles kept clean of pallets and raw materials.
  • Ensure backyard is kept clean and tidy, including timely and disposal of empty drums and totes in accordance with EPA regulations.
  • Manage cheap pallets so that returns are accurate.

Who you are:

  • Educated to Year 10, with two (2) years' experience in warehouse environment pick and packing orders and real dispatch dockets.
  • Current forklift license.
  • Good English written and oral communications with basic PC skills.
