Residential Cleaner – Independent, Fast-Paced & Willing to Learn (Riot Cleaning)

We're looking for someone a little younger, hands-on, and willing to learn and grow within the business. Someone who can work independently and has the confidence to make decisions when needed, while still communicating clearly.

About the Role:

You'll be cleaning residential homes across Toukley and surrounds, all the way to Wangi Wangi. You'll handle general house cleaning — bathrooms, kitchens, floors, dusting — as well as deeper or NDIS-style cleans when required.

This role suits someone who can think for themselves, stay on schedule, and still keep standards high.

You must have at least 1 year of residential cleaning experience in a fast-paced environment, doing two-hour cleans or one-hour cleans with two people.

Start times are usually 7 a.m., and on busier days, you'll finish around 5 p.m.

We want cleaners who can problem-solve and think on their feet.

Ask yourself:

  • What would you do if the washing machine looked full at a client's house?
  • What would you do if you needed more cloths or chemicals during a shift?
  • What would you do if you were about to go overtime at a client's house?
  • If you weren't sure about something, how would you communicate that?
  • If you called in sick for a shift, what would be your next move (besides just sending a doctor's certificate)?
  • Would you be able to remember a client's home layout after a few weeks away?
  • How would you communicate certain things within the business — issues, changes, or feedback?

These are the kinds of real situations that come up in this role, and how you handle them matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year residential cleaning experience (fast-paced)
  • Can start at 7 a.m. and finish around 5 p.m. on big days
  • Police check or willing to get one
  • Driver's licence and reliable car
  • Able to work solo confidently — referees must confirm this
  • Reliable phone communication and strong initiative

What We Don't Do:

We don't do excuses, attitude, or half-done work. Everyone's accountable for their own jobs. If you can't handle feedback or think "good enough" is fine, this isn't the role for you.
