The Role: Marketing Manager, Melbourne

We are exclusively partnering with the Marshall Group to find an experienced and driven Marketing Manager, Oceania. This is a high-impact, hands-on role reporting to the APAC Marketing Manager based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your mission will be to develop, drive, and amplify the Marshall brand across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring the legendary Marshall spirit resonates with local consumers and music communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Local Consumer Plan: Deliver the ANZ Consumer Plan, ensuring full alignment with the Regional Strategy.
  • Agency & Partner Management: Take charge of setting up and managing key local external agencies and partners across both the MI (Musical Instruments) and CE (Consumer Electronics) businesses.
  • Full-Spectrum Campaign Execution: Own the planning, execution, and reporting for all marketing activities, including Public Relations, Digital and Print Media investments, and crucial Consumer-facing Event Activations.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager Oceania, Distribution Partners, and the Channel Marketing team to meet both brand and commercial objectives.
  • Ecom & Retail Excellence: Partner with regional and global teams to drive best-in-class Consumer Plan implementation across CE, Pure Player, Lifestyle Retail, and Ecom channels.

What We're Looking For in You

You are a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, ready to embed the Marshall brand deep into the Oceania cultural landscape.

  • Experience & Expertise: Minimum of 6 years of marketing experience within global lifestyle, CE, or luxury brands in the Australian market.
  • Proven Brand Campaigns: Demonstrable success in planning and implementing integrated brand marketing campaigns in Australia (offline and online, ecom experience is a plus).
  • Local Market Acumen: A sharp understanding of the domestic market, consumer behaviour, and the local cultural landscape, including key media and digital platforms.
  • Music Community Connection (A major plus): Existing experience and connections within local music communities, independent venues, or directly with musicians will be highly regarded.
  • Global Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams (including occasional travel to global HQ in Stockholm and the UK).
