Candidates can come from Head Contractor or Client/Consultancy Side but ideally will have some client/consultancy side experience. Project to manager are from smaller up to $10m+ right now but in the wider business, projects to $250m+.

Our client is a leading project management consultancy with an established pipeline of Hospitality, Retail, Industrial, Health and Commercial projects across new build as well as fit out / refurbishment up to $250m+. They are now looking for an experienced
Project Manager
to join their successful team based in their Brisbane office.

They are a high functioning boutique client-side PM consultancy with a multi-state presence. You will be working on a hospitality account running 3 to 4 concurrent projects from smaller up to $10m. The account is fast paced and we are looking for someone as soon as possible.

The candidate can come from a head contractor, or a client side/consultancy background however ideally will have some client side/consultancy experience. Excellent progression opportunities available.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Scope development
  • Managing regulatory approvals
  • Design co-ordination
  • Stakeholder management and liaison
  • Working in a "live" environment (some of the buildings may remain open during construction)
  • Health and safety
  • Program management
  • Contract administration
  • Construction management of project delivery
  • Management of site variations and design changes
  • Cost management

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
  • A minimum of years' experience in a client-side PM role, head contractor experience would also be ideal
  • Proven end to end project management skills from concept through to completion
  • Contract Administration experience
  • Exposure to program management, managing timelines and critical paths
  • Experience of end to end project management on a variety of building projects, commercial fit out would be an advantage
  • Experience of running multiple smaller projects
