About the role

Classic & Prestige Auto Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanic to join our team in Geebung, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of classic and high-end vehicles. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are well-maintained and running at their best.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and repairs.
  2. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
  3. Follow service schedules and accurately document all work performed
  4. Liaise with customers to understand their concerns and provide updates on the progress of their vehicle's repair
  5. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanic, preferably in the automotive industry. Experience with Jaguar and other English marques an advantage.
  2. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  4. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear updates on vehicle status
  5. A valid driver's license and your own tools
  6. A passion for classic and high-end vehicles
