Overview

Australian Training Company is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice mechanic who is keen to join an expandable mechanical repairs business based in Coorparoo in Brisbane. You will learn from an experienced and fully qualified mechanic on a full range of vehicle makes and models and be exposed to all the specialist tools of a well-equipped workshop.

To join our team as an apprentice motor mechanic, the successful applicant must meet the following criteria and start soon.

Responsibilities
  • Learn on light motor vehicles under the guidance of an experienced mechanic.
  • Work on a full range of vehicle makes and models in a well-equipped workshop.
Requirements
  • Hold a current manual drivers' licence.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Have good presentation and communication skills.
  • Be a team player with excellent learning skills.
  • A genuine interest in motor mechanics.
  • Available for immediate start; full-time position (38 hours per week).
Offer and Conditions
  • Full training support and uniforms provided.
  • Salary paid under the Vehicle Manufacturing, Repair, Services & Retail Award 2020, with entitlements including annual leave, sick leave, and paid public holidays.
