About the Role

  • Lead menu creation and design innovative dishes that align with our brand's identity.
  • Find, manage and mentor a team of talented chefs, creating staff culture, ensuring they deliver consistent, high-quality dishes
  • Develop and implement innovative culinary concepts that align with the hotels brand and vision for kitchen operations of 2 kitchens
  • Monitor and control food and labour costs to maintain profitability

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience a Head Chef role in high volume, multi-outlet establishment [Experience with Gastropub food preferred but not essential]
  • Proven track record of building, leading and managing a high-performing kitchen team
  • Excellent culinary skills, including a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and a passion for using fresh, local ingredients, strong knowledge of meat and seafood.
  • Creative flair to develop seasonal menus and specials
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the management team
