Accounts Officer P/T 0.6 FTE

We're now looking for an organised, detail-loving Accounts Officer who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys keeping financial operations ticking like clockwork.

What you'll be doing:

You'll play an essential role in our finance team by supporting day-to-day operations across payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payroll accurately and on time
  • Managing accounts receivable: invoicing, reconciliations and friendly follow-ups
  • Overseeing accounts payable: invoice processing, payments and reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
  • Supporting financial reporting, budgeting and audit preparations

About you:

You're someone who brings consistency, calm and clarity to a busy environment. You also:

  • Have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy working with a variety of people
  • Work confidently on your own but collaborate well when needed
  • Handle confidential information with complete professionalism

What you'll bring:

  • A qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or Equivalent
  • Experience across payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Confidence using Microkeeper (preferable) Xero or MYOB, plus strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Work, tax and superannuation (desirable but not essential)
