Our Fitness Centre within our City Club, is a five-star health facility, located in the centre of Melbourne.  We offer our members: a fully equipped gymnasium, 4 squash courts, a 25 metre six lane pool, steam room, sauna, spa, and 2 group studios and with over 50 classes per week. We currently have a great opportunity for a part time receptionist to join our friendly and knowledgeable reception team. 

A day in the life

In this role you'll dazzle our members with your energy, friendliness and efficient administration skills. You will provide a quick check-in even when it is crazy busy, whilst answering calls, responding to enquiries and assisting with gym floor work or classes when required. We're seeking candidates with great customer service skills and experience in the fitness industry. 

As part of the Reception team you will love a fast-paced environment and enjoy making a positive impact on every member's day.

The position is a permanent part-time role and you'll be rostered to meet the peak and flow of business demands.

We're looking for…

  • First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with our members and guests.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work productively as a member of dynamic team.
  • Excellent personal presentation and understanding of the function of the Fitness Centre.
  • Availability across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and peak holiday periods.
