About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with proven switchboard experience to join our expert team. This role offers the opportunity to be deeply involved in the design, engineering, and technical delivery of advanced electrical switchboard solutions. This role is ideal for a qualified electrical engineer with a background in low-voltage switchboard assembly and fit-out.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design and develop electrical switchboards in compliance with Australian standards and customer requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including design, drafting, and production.
  • Perform load calculations, protection coordination, and other key engineering tasks.
  • Review and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Provide engineering support during manufacturing and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure technical documentation and project records are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical switchboard design or manufacturing.
  • Sound knowledge of LV and MV switchboard systems and Australian electrical standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
