The Role

As an experienced Disability Support Worker, you will:

  • Assist participants with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Support clients to participate in community and social activities.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing individualised support plans.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all participants.

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers with strong skills in supporting participants who display Behaviours of Concern.

Successful applicants will support participants living independently in their own homes with 24/7 support services. We currently have a variety of shifts available, including sleepovers and weekday shifts.

You'll bring resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

About You

You're passionate about making a difference and bring genuine care to everything you do. You will have:

  • 3+ years' experience in disability support, including complex needs and/or behaviours of concern.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a natural relationship builder.
  • Strongorganisation, initiative, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • An empathetic, solutions-focused, and outcome-driven approach.
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.

  • Safety screening checks and mandatory training, including:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Successful candidates must have availability across the festive season is essential, with flexibility to work rostered weekday and sleepover shifts.
