We're inviting expressions of interest from professionals for the below positions.
- Governance Support Officer In this role you will provide administration support and assistance to ensure the efficient functioning of the Governance section. You will work to achieve and maintain a high standard of Governance Frameworks and legislative compliance through the effective support of administrative and statutory processes ensuring excellence in Governance across all of Council's operations and functions.
If you are a highly skilled administrator with an eye for detail, a mind for process and interest in governance/legislation this is the role for you
- Governance, Corporate Planning & Policy Officer In this role, you will strengthen and maintain council's suite of policies, guidelines, and procedures in order to ensure that council officers are appropriately guided in the execution of their duties. This position is also responsible for compiling and presenting regular reports on council's performance against key corporate goals. Working with the broader Governance Team, this position will also be key in assisting as required across areas such as risk, insurance and administrative governance work (including the preparation of delegations and authorisations documentation).
- Governance Specialist In this role your objective will be to provide technical governance expertise to assist and coordinate the Governance Team in carrying out enterprise risk management, audit and assurance, business continuity planning, policy and procedure development, corporate planning & reporting and integrity management functions for Council, supporting the organisation to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
