Behaviour Support Practitioner

We're seeking an Advanced PBS practitioner with a passion for rural and remote care to join our dynamic team in South Australia. This is a full-time role (preferred) ideal for a clinician who thrives with working flexibly and providing client-centred care.

The Role:

· The APBS will be responsible for conducting FBA,

· develop PBS plans in collaboration with individual, families, carers, educators, and clinicians.

· Provide support and mentoring for the LHG newly qualified core competency PBS practitioners.

  • Allocate dedicated time for report writing and administration tasks from an office base 1 day per week.
  • Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes for NDIS participants.
  • Travel to rural communities for assessments and therapy, with all arrangements and appointments handled by our admin and operations teams. With oversight from management, team leaders, and clinical staff, you'll have the support you need to focus on delivering exceptional care.

What we're looking for:

  • Current AHPRA registration (where appropriate)
  • Advanced practitioner, per the NDIS Capability Framework, with evidence of endorsement and portfolio.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest and understanding of the NDIS.
  • Strong written communication and time management skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel across SA and Interstate via both flying and driving.
