Working with a tight knit crew across various sites, the ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for construction and a commitment to learn.

As an apprentice at Newlands, you will be required to complete a Certificate III in Plumbing (facilitated by Newlands). This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development within the construction industry.

About the Roles:

As a Labourer at Newlands, you will play a key role in supporting various tasks on civil construction sites. Your responsibilities will include connecting and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains, which may involve welding pipes. Additionally, you will assist tradespeople on site with activities such as site preparation, site maintenance, concrete work, and other general civil labouring duties.

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will join a dedicated and close-knit crew working across a variety of construction sites. With a strong commitment to learning, you will take part in hands-on tasks designed to build your practical understanding of the plumbing trade, all under the guidance of experienced professionals.

About You:

To be successful, you will require:

  • Previous experience labouring in the Civil Construction Industry

  • White Card

  • Current driver's licence

  • Strong worth ethic

  • Genuine commitment to grow and learn within the construction industry

  • Ability to follow general instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures
