We are seeking an experienced and qualified commercial plumber and gas fitter to join our friendly and professional team at AJ'S Plumbing, Gas and Earthworks. The right candidate will have knowledge and experience within the commercial and industrial sector of plumbing, drainage and gas fitting.

Our Business

AJ'S Plumbing, Gas and Earthworks is family owned and operated business, servicing the Toowoomba region and surrounds. Specialising in all areas plumbing and gas for large scale projects, new homes and renovations, maintenance work and excavations.

About the Role

· Casual Position potentially leading to a full-time position for the right candidate

· Qualified Plumber and Gas Fitter + (additional qualifications are an advantage)

· The successful candidate will perform plumbing and gas duties on commercial and industrial projects. Work will range from new homes and renovations, through to large scale complexes such as shopping centres, aged care homes, service stations and other awarded commercial projects.

Skills & Experience (but not limited to):

· Sewer

· Stormwater & Civil Drainage

· Stormwater retention/detention systems

· Rough-ins and fit offs

· Suspended drains

· Fire Services

· Accurately interpreting Plans, Specifications and scope of works

· Liaise with Clients, Builders, Site Supervisors, Trades and Suppliers.

· Report to director/site management as required

· Material procurement/ordering

The candidate must:

  • Be a registered qualified Plumber and Gasfitter
  • Hold a White Card
  • Hold a driver's license

· Be able to work independently and instruct apprentice staff members

· Be reliable, trustworthy and always punctual

· Be presented well

· Ability to work both supervised and un-supervised

· Fulfill jobs and tasks delegated to you
