Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park Casual Staff - Multiple positions available
About The Opportunity
Are you looking to work in a beautiful beachside destination over the summer?
Mallacoota is a small, coastal town located in the far east area of Victoria and has a population of approximately 1500 residents, which has been known to quadruple during the Christmas period. The popular tourist destination offers many things to enjoy, and is a popular spot to boat, snorkel and explore the Croajingalong National Park.
These casual roles are required to support the peak period, delivering high-quality cleaning services for visitors at the Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park. Successful applicants will work on a roster that includes weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.
The busiest period runs from Christmas week through to the end of February, but we aim to have you start by late November or early December to ensure you're fully trained and ready to go.
As a Park Amenities Officer, you will
- Provide quality cleaning, customer service and maintenance to the park to ensure all guests enjoy their stay.
- Monitor and maintain park facilities to achieve exceptional standards.
- Provide high quality, timely support and resolution of issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Assist with stock control for cleaning supplies and consumables
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all park facilities meet hygiene and safety standards, and report and address maintenance issues promptly.
To work at the park, you will need to pass a police check and provide a current employee-type Working with Children Check. You will also need to pass a pre-employment medical so we know you're physically fit to perform the duties of the role.
We are happy to consider applicants on working holidays as long as there are no work restrictions on your visa. We will also accept applications from couples, however please send through your applications separately.
Please note, we can provide you with a campsite for your caravan/camping setup but we don't have designated accommodation on site for employees.
To apply, please attach:
- A cover letter outlining
- Why you want to work at the park and what you will bring to the role.
- The dates you are available to work at the park
- If you're travelling with someone else who is also applying for the position
- A current resume which includes your personal details, education, qualifications and work experience
Applications will be reviewed upon receipt, so don't delay in submitting yours Applications close at 11:59pm on Sunday 14 September.
