Job Description

AECOM's Advisory team in Perth is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Consultant with a strong background in business case development and appraisal, who enjoys analysis and problem solving, delivers excellent client service, and is eager to contribute to projects across transport, energy, and water sectors while working closely with a supportive and driven leadership team.

How you'll make a difference

  • Delivering advisory services including business case development, project assurance and appraisal, strategic advice, feasibility advice and infrastructure prioritisation
  • Developing reports and presentations to communicate findings to a range of stakeholders, including government and private clients in a variety of sectors
  • Leading and managing projects so that projects are delivered on time, to scope and to budget with sound and reliable outcomes.
  • Leading proposals and other business development activities to support the Infrastructure Advisory and wider AECOM teams

  • Strong technical background in advising government clients on business cases, project assurance, and evaluation, particularly within transport engineering or planning.
  • Proven ability to develop business cases and navigate WA and Federal government funding processes and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, with a focus on client relationship building and successful project delivery.
