Since 1991, Dulwich-Newtown Basketball Club (DNBC) has proudly served the basketball needs of the Inner West community. We are a fast-growing, high-performing basketball club with a reputation for structured coaching, player development, and operational excellence.

Your Mission

We're looking for a hands-on Content Creator/Videographer to capture, edit, and ship short-form content for DNBC — spotlight training sessions, game footage, camps, and parent/player testimonials etc. — to help us build our brand on social media.

What you'll do

  • Plan a monthly content calendar mapped to team registrations, team trials, school programs, and holiday camps (shoot list, hooks, consent needs, deadlines).
  • Film on-site at trainings, games, school programs, camps etc.
  • Deliver a steady weekly set of photos and short-form assets (for Reels/TikTok/Shorts) agreed in the content calendar; optimise for watch-time, saves, enquiries, and sign-ups.
  • Capture testimonials, before/after skill clips, coach walk-throughs, behind-the-scenes.
  • Edit fast (CapCut/Adobe Rush/Final Cut), add captions/hooks/CTAs; export organic + paid versions.
  • Organise a content library, manage consent using our templates, and hand off assets for ads/landing pages.
  • Track impact (views/saves/CTR/leads) and iterate weekly with the Acquisition Lead.

You are…

  • Comfortable filming in active environments.
  • Quick editor with a strong sense of hooks and storytelling.
  • Genuinely enjoys creating short-form content; strong storytelling instincts and curiosity for what makes people stop, watch, and share.
  • Audience-growth mindset: plans an engaging monthly release calendar (hooks, series concepts, posting cadence) aimed at boosting views, follows, saves, and enquiries.
  • Stays on top of platform trends and adapts formats quickly (Reels/TikTok/Shorts).
  • Available most weekdays 3–7pm and some Saturdays.
  • Hold (or can obtain) NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC); child-safe filming aware.
  • Basketball knowledge is a plus.
