About the Role

This full-time, permanent role, based out of GreenInc's Edinburgh depot involves leading a team of experienced landscapers providing maintenance services in community spaces including parks, and playgrounds. You will work alongside your team while helping plan and supervise daily tasks, providing them support with your extensive landscaping knowledge. You will also perform checks on completed projects to ensure all work meets GreenInc's highest quality standards.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, develop, support and supervise the performance of the team
• Implement plans and schedules as per direction
• Oversee quality output ensuring work meets contract requirements
• Ensure that planned work is completed on schedule and on budget
• Maintain high standards of compliance, safety and quality (ISO 9001 and 45001)

About You

You have leadership experience in commercial grounds maintenance or a similar field and enjoy mentoring others while still working in a hands-on landscaping role. Your strength lies in building strong teams through clear communication and positive relationships. Additionally, you will pride yourself as a natural problem-solver who is skilled at managing conflict and can perform well under pressure.

Essential requirements include:

• Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture (Diploma advantageous) and White Card
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
• Proficient computer knowledge, including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Ability to drive a manual and with a trailer
• Solid understanding of irrigation system management

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.

• A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
• Driver's licence
• Evidence of right to work in Australia
• 100 points of identification
• Successfully pass a pre-employment medical
