About The Role:
Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Coordinator, this role serves as an integral member of the broader Quality & Compliance team and is critical in focusing on maintaining the highest standards of compliance within DCC's operations. This role is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of reviewing and overseeing DCC's current documentation and forms, ensuring they are consistently aligned with the stringent requirements set by Child Protection Licensing and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Your main responsibilities will include:

Review and update compliance documents to ensure adherence to Child Protection Licensing and NDIS guidelines throughout ongoing operations.

Stay updated on legislative changes, revising internal documentation and maintaining an accessible records system for compliance.

Collaborate with departments to communicate and implement compliance requirements, offering training and support.

Lead regular compliance audits and risk assessments, providing feedback to mitigate risks and ensure proper documentation.

Prepare and present compliance status reports to management and stakeholders and respond to enquiries as needed.

Continuously analyse and improve processes, implementing policies that align with current legislation and maintaining a Continual Improvement Register.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing accurate documentation for regulatory officers.

Manage risks, incidents, and complaints per NDIS guidelines, maintaining records for improvement and accountability.

Base salary of $70,000 - $75,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Requirements/Qualifications:
-
An understanding of the regulatory landscape concerning Child Protection and NDIS requirements (desirable)
-
Proven experience in a compliance administrator role.
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-
Well-developed time-management and organisational skills.
-
2 years experience in the same or a similar industry
-
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
-
Valid police check
-
Ability to obtain a blue card
-
Ability to obtain NDIS clearance
-
Ability to obtain LSC2 clearance.
