Pallas Capital is a debt and equity fund manager specialising in the financing of Australian and New Zealand Commercial Real Estate. The business was established in direct response to the growing lack of credit in Australia's mid-range property market; a situation exacerbated by the shortage of reputable, risk-adverse, non-bank lenders.

Fortis our property development management business, has a portfolio of more than $750 million in successfully completed residential and commercial projects, with a further $560 million to be completed by the end of the year.

Due to continued growth at Pallas Capital, there is an opportunity for a Client Services Associate to join the team in our
Manly
office.

The role involves supporting the Client Services team in all aspects of the client service, including client communications, investor onboarding and KYC, application processing, capital calls, unit register administration, end of period interest payment processing and reconciliations, addressing client service queries from both onshore and offshore clients, and translating any necessary documents in Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients and distribution team members
  • Processing onboarding forms
  • Conducting client KYC in accordance with our AML / CTF Policy
  • Creating investor applications
  • Emailing investor applications to clients
  • Processing investor applications
  • Handling investor application queries from clients and distribution team members
  • Following up on outstanding applications in line with Pallas SLA's
  • Matching incoming funds with applications and issuing unit certificates
  • Processing redemptions
  • Reviewing interest payment calculations
  • Performing month-end reconciliations
  • Maintaining the CRM database

About You

  • Completed or currently studying a degree in finance or a business-related discipline
  • NAATI or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) at or near native level, with strong English skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of Asian cultural norms, values, and business etiquette, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in client engagement and relationship management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Interest in financial markets and commercial real estate
  • Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
