What's the role?
As Senior Manager, Governance, you'll play a key role in shaping and maintaining the governance framework across our Commercial Bank. You'll lead the coordination of risk committees, forums and executive reporting, ensuring governance processes are robust, well-documented and aligned with regulatory expectations. This full-time role is based in Sydney, with flexibility to work from home as needed.
You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality papers for senior leadership and board-level committees, managing governance registers, and driving continuous improvement across our governance practices. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with senior stakeholders, and have a passion for structure and clarity, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you'll bring a mix of governance expertise, strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
- Strong governance experience in a large, complex organisation, ideally within financial services.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise and insightful papers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple committees, forums or governance processes with precision.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and navigating shifting priorities.
