Job Details

The Financial Services Branch (FHS) within DFATs Finance Division (FND) requires a part-time SAP Technical Support Officer to provide specialist support and maintenance for DFATs highly customised SAP environment.

The role will assist business areas and end-users in resolving SAP issues, managing testing activities, and ensuring system documentation and staff training are maintained.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist FHS and SAP users to resolve issues, including maintaining help desk records.

  • Ensure documentation and training materials are developed and updated for common support issues.

  • Manage and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SAP system changes.

  • Provide specialist support during enhancement and maintenance projects.

  • Work collaboratively with other ICT and finance teams to ensure system stability and compliance.

About the Team

The Financial Systems Section (FHS) is responsible for the ongoing development and improvement of DFATs financial systems.

The section also provides helpdesk support, system training, and application assistance to DFAT staff in Australia and overseas.
