About the role:
Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the bulk fuel depot, customer service, controlling, monitoring and delivery of products. In addition, day to day operations activities, administration and completion of routine depot compliance tasks.
You will play an important role as part of the team, working closely with drivers to deliver safe, reliable and competitive outcomes for our customers. This is a busy and varied role offering breadth and scope, with opportunities for learning and development into other roles. This role is a great stepping stone into the wider Ampol business.
Key responsibilities;
Managing all aspects of a busy fuel truck depot, comprising of a retail forecourt, aboveground bulk storage facility and offices, ensuring all equipment and infrastructure are maintained in safe, compliant and efficient working order.Provide excellent customer service to all customers of the depot including responding to customer queries, generating quotes, recording sales and managing ongoing orders and deliveriesCompletion of day-to- day administrative and monitoring truck compliance duties to support the depotStock reconciliation and control including stocktaking, order processing, despatch , reordering and maintaining accurate records.Support the lubricant delivery driver with the delivery of lubricants with the local area, involving loading and transfer of products into above ground or below ground tankageSteward health, safety and wellbeing across all depot activitiesManage contractor and supplier relationships, including site access, inductions, and performance monitoring.Investigate and resolve operational issues such as stock variances, delivery discrepancies, and equipment faults.Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support operational efficiency and audit readiness.Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Territory ManagerAbout you:

You have a strong focus and passion in providing a high level of service to Customers. You have a high focus on safety and compliance and understand the importance of our customers.
Skills and experience:
Proven experience in a similar roleCurrent forklift licence with counter balance experienceCurrent Light Rigid truck licence (minimum)Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Customer service and stock control experienceProficient in MS officeUnderstanding of safe work practices and transport/logisticsExperience in dangerous goods/ petroleum industry is desirable however not essentialOur benefits:
