To continue our success, we are looking for a Waste Treatment Operator to join our WEEKEND NIGHT Shift team.

This role will see you reporting to your Frontline Manager,operating and maintaining waste treatment systems, managing the safe collection, segregation,disposal of waste materials and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. The role involves monitoring equipment, handling waste streams, and supporting overall site safety and sustainability practices.

Details:

  • Weekend Night Shift : 10:30pm Friday - 6:30am Saturday, 6:30pm Saturday - 6:30am Sunday , 6:30-10:30pm Sunday.
  • Permanent Part Time : 24 Hours Weekly
Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport waste to designated disposal areas.

  • Operate and monitor waste treatment systems, including oil and general waste management.

  • Carry out sorting, segregation and safe handling of waste materials.

  • Perform equipment operation, facility upkeep and routine maintenance tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain required documentation.

Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Licence

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proven ability to follow complex instructions and procedures

  • Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities

  • Knowledge of environmental standards with demonstrated compliance in managing waste streams
