About the role

AAM Timber is recruiting for Casual operators to join our Timber Mill in Narangba QLD. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is responsible for operating plant and equipment on site to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the timber mill. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of site.
  • Working in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Operating machinery stacking Timber.

About you

  • Current and valid driver's licence is essential.
  • Ability to work safely in accordance with workplace health and safety standards.
  • Previous timber industry experience highly regarded but not essential.
  • Good communication skills and safety conscious attitude.

Australian Softwood Qld Pty Ltd, trading as AAM Timber - located in Narangba, Queensland, approximately 30km north of Brisbane's CBD. The treatment plant and milling facility uses sustainably sourced timber, combined with specialised equipment including Bezner peeling machines, kiln drying, and treatment cylinders providing ACQ and CCA wood treatment solutions for our product range including piling, fencing, landscape and horticulture markets throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
