Job Description
We are looking for a professional and creative geospatial analyst to join our team. As a geospatial analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data acquired through our advanced drone and laser technology. You'll work with cross-functional teams to provide key insights and support to drive the evolution of our projects and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Process and analyze the geospatial data collected by Uavs to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
- Spatial analysis is performed using GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, etc., and high-quality maps and visualization reports are generated.
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Participate in field data collection and validation to ensure data reliability.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to improve the efficiency of data processing and analysis.
- Keep track of industry trends and technology progress, and propose improvement suggestions to enhance data analysis capabilities and workflow.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, environmental science or related field.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in geospatial data analysis, UAV data processing experience is preferred.
- Proficient in ArcGIS, QGIS and other GIS software, able to skillfully use relevant tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Understand the fundamentals and applications of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and UAV imaging technologies.
- Good data analysis skills and ability to extract valuable insights from complex data.
- Team player, good communication and problem solving skills.
- With strong self-learning ability, able to adapt to the rapidly changing technology environment.
