We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our team on a range of exciting civil infrastructure and land development projects in the Townsville region. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to work with a dynamic team delivering high-quality outcomes across roadworks, subdivisions, drainage, bulk earthworks, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of on-site construction activities
  • Interpret engineering plans, specifications, and project documentation
  • Monitor and report on progress, quality, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and local authorities
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with standards and regulations
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare reports as required
  • Support the Project Manager in the delivery of project milestones on time and on budget

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years' site-based experience in civil infrastructure or land development projects in Australia

Strong understanding of Australian Standards, local council requirements, and Main Roads Queensland specifications

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills

Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance

Current White Card and valid Driver's Licence

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
