ABOUT THE ROLE
As a KitchenAid Account Specialist, you'll be the face of the brand within your territory — driving sales, delivering exceptional in-store execution, promotional activations, product training and building strong relationships with trade partners.
Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you'll work closely together to achieve the KitchenAid trade partner strategy and tactical plans.
Responsibilities: [include, but not limited to]
- Grow the KitchenAid SDA business within territory and trade customers
- Develop and adhere to an effective call cycle based on business needs, calling on trade and independent retailers as necessary
- Achieve monthly sales outlook
- Capture consumer, retail staff/management and competitor insights and communicate to the business
- Conduct in-store merchandising to ensure KitchenAid displays meet best-in-class standards, following merchandising and planogram guidelines
- Identify and address product range gaps, ensuring all point of sale is correctly displayed
- Complete daily call reports and monthly territory summaries, highlighting key data and field insights
- Organise and deliver local/regional product training for trade customers and decision-makers
- Develop and manage ongoing promotional calendar, activations and effectiveness within territory
- Build and maintain best-in-class relationships with trade customers
- Daily intrastate travel to trade customer locations with occasional interstate trips
- Support VIP events and conduct in-store demonstrations when required
ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive individual and natural relationship builder with a business, commerce or technical background who enjoys working independently across a geographically dispersed network.
- Previous experience in sales, trade retail, brand or product marketing preferred
- Previous experience in retail and small kitchen appliances preferred
- Target driven and self-motivated; takes ownership of any challenges within territory and beyond job scope
- Analytical; continually using data to optimize product ranges and present findings both internally and externally to trade customers
- Exceptional planning skills to optimize time management
- Strong presentation and training ability; capture and maintain audience attention
- Relationship management skills, both internally and externally
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- A current Australian driver's licence and your own car are required for this role.
