Job Description
The Opportunity
We are looking for an
Underground Mine Technician
to join our team at our Duketon operations. This position is responsible for providing support to the professional mining services in all areas of the mine.

This is a FIFO role (8:6; 7:7 day and night shift) from Perth.

Recently qualified Geology graduates are encouraged to apply.

Desired Skills And Experience
About the Role

• Inspecting work area and equipment for hazards, malfunctions or damage;
• Sampling and Mapping Development faces
• Processing Diamond Drill core
• Database Data entry
• Ensure haul trucks are reporting to the correct location (i.e. stockpile or dump);
• Stocktake and ordering of supplies
• Maintaining equipment in a clean and tidy condition and keeping accurate records of activities; and

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential;
• Be willing and able to spend extended periods outside/underground in the elements in challenging conditions;
• Licenced to drive a manual C class vehicle;
• Hold a current police clearance; and
• Have a willingness to work night shift.
