Title: Automation Tester with Data Tester Exp

Location: Melbourne

Permanent role.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities


• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.


• Perform data validation, data integrity checks, and ETL testing across databases and data pipelines.


• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.


• Design test scenarios for APIs, backend systems, and data transformations.


• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications


• 3–6 years of experience in Automation Testing and Data Testing.


• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).


• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).


• Experience in ETL testing, data migration, and data quality assurance.


• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems.


• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).


• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and big data platforms is a plus.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data services.


• Exposure to BI tools and reporting validation (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).


• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
