The Dry Dock, a historic pub established in 1857, has been a long-standing fixture on the Balmain peninsula, an area famed for its pub culture.

About the role

We are seeking dynamic, experienced section waiters. If you have a passion for service, people and creating unforgettable experiences while having a blast, this is your moment to shine.

Your responsibilities


• Warmly greet every guest.

• Provide attentive service while exceeding guest expectations.

• Assist with all floor-related duties, ensuring overall guest experience is always a priority.

• Provide answers to all guest-related enquiries and questions with poise and professionalism. 

• Uphold our hygiene, health and safety at all times. 

• Take and accurately relay guest orders to beverage teams and kitchen. 

• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient front of the house. 

About you


• A good team spirit, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Eagerness to develop knowledge in all areas of food and beverage.

• A love of hospitality and guest service.

• Excellent spoken communication skills. 

• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.  

• RSA certification is required.
