Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource.

The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate.

The Graduate Geologist is responsible for assisting the Underground Geologist in accurate and timely geological data collection through activities such as underground mapping, core logging etc. to enable the business to be optimised for planning and extraction of ore through underground mining. The data will assist business decisions around mine design, maximising ore recovery and ensuring ore dilution is minimized, as well as expanding Resource growth opportunities.

This role is permanent full time and is based on site on DS 8:6, 8:6, 8:6, NS 7:7 after an initial 8:6 days only.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Collection and recording of accurate, high quality geological and geochemical data conforming to the company procedures, and a basic understanding of QA/QC concepts.
  • Collate and deliver accurate production and geological data and associated reports within agreed timeframes to provide management with progress / status against outlook, forecast and budget.
  • Document the controls on mineralisation in mapping, reports and presentations to build a bank of quality historical data and knowledge for current and future reference.
  • Exposure to geological interpretation, grade control models, resource models and reports to ensure accuracy of interpretation.
  • Exposure to mining departments to comprehend the mining value chain and systems.
  • Exposure to drill design and contractor management.
  • Utilise site systems and QA/QC protocols to ensure the quality and integrity of data. Produce monthly and quarterly QA/QC reports.
  • Develop an understanding of regional and local controls on mineralisation in order to add to Reserves and Resources through delineation, extension and discovery.
  • Other duties as request by your Supervisor / Manager.

Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology
  • Valid WA C class drivers license
  • Intermediate to advanced level MS Office Suite
  • Exposure/understanding of Mining Software, such as Datamine, Vulcan, Surpac or Leapfrog
  • Eligible for professional registration
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Strong, logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
